The
interesting philosophy about new ideas!
New
ideas! How do people find them?
The
secret is really quite simple!
People
just associate known words and ideas to find new combinations!
"What
might solve this problem?" or
"How
can we do this better?"
Some
people are good at thinking up new problems as well, but that's just a
part of analytical thinking.
Thinking
about "what might go wrong?" and
"If
that should fail how can we prevent it"
I
think you will agree that's pretty important stuff for aircraft designers!
3 Stooges - Funny thinking
Sensory
Perception
Thoughts
have their basis in associating memory, vision, smells, heat, cold, pressure,
balance and sounds!
In
other words we use our sensory nerves to gather information about our environment
and store it in our memory.
Imagination
When
we learn to speak, read and write, we expand the capacity of our brain
to think and imagine! We begin to build a vast databank of knowledge
that we can draw upon anytime we think or imagine or even when we dream!
A
Catalyst
The
Xerotron acts as a catalyst for your ability to imagine new things by presenting
your eyes and ears with new associations of words! Your brain does
the rest!
It's
amazing how your brain will continue to work on problems while you are
asleep.
Have
you found that after a good night's sleep you often wake up with a solution
to a problem or a brilliant new idea?
Ancestral
Experience
Our
early ancestor's thought processes were based on their experiences, in
other words what they had seen, heard, smelt, felt and remembered as "thought
pictures." They invented words or grunts to describe the things around
them - much as teenagers do, even today!
In
all, a fairly limited vocabulary!
